Through the National Security Agency (NSA) Technology Transfer Program (TTP), Fixmo has driven the transition of AutoBerry, an NSA-designed solution for automating mobile device compliance auditing, from a government off-the-shelf (GOTS) product to a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) product called Fixmo Sentinel Desktop.
Fixmo Sentinel Desktop is used by a growing number of government agencies to verify device integrity and to maintain compliance with STIG regulations. As a single-user, desktop-based version of the Fixmo Sentinel Integrity Services solution, Fixmo Sentinel Desktop scans mobile devices to extract application and OS files and compares them against a known good baseline state to detect changes or potential compromises. It also gathers MD5/SHA2 hashes, device information, directory listings and file dependencies, and decompresses sub-files for analysis to detect deviations and potentially non-compliant states. Scan summaries easily identify anomalies, streamlining your workflow by eliminating complex side-by-side manual comparisons. Alert systems and color-coded displays help distinguish between low and high risks at-a-glance.
Security personnel can quickly identify devices that have been compromised, while support staff for travellers and executives can easily establish baselines for BlackBerry and Android devices before trips, so that any changes made to applications and OS files can be flagged.
