Fixmo, the mobile risk management (MRM) company, today unveiled Fixmo SafeZone 2.0, the secure workspace solution that encrypts and contains corporate data and applications on iPhones, iPads and Android-based mobile devices—keeping them under the control of the IT department.

Fixmo, the mobile risk management company, and Enterproid, a leader in enabling “bring your own device” (BYOD) mobility, today announced the first commercial application secured using the Fixmo SafeGuard SDK. Through a partnership between the two companies, Enterproid is delivering a defense-grade version of its Divide platform, which lets users switch instantly between personal and work personas on their mobile device.

Fixmo, the mobile risk management company, today announced its Certified Partner Program for Fixmo SafeZone that brings defense-grade data security and policy management to mobile applications in the enterprise. Through the program, government agencies and enterprise customers can now leverage certified development partners to secure their mobile apps for iOS and Android and re-package them for distribution into the Fixmo SafeZone Secure Workspace using the Fixmo SafeGuard Software Development Kit (SDK).

May 15, 2012 - Mobile risk management company Fixmo has introduced SafeGuard, a new SDK designed to secure mobile apps and help protect private data on iOS and Android devices. This new tool aims to address the issue of protecting the increasing amount of data stored on mobile apps by providing security and encryption through the creation of a secure container around the applications themselves. Essentially, this wraps the apps with access controls, remote policy management functions, and defense-grade data encryption techniques.
