Rick Segal
CEO & Founder

Rick Segal is the founder of Fixmo. Prior to starting Fixmo, Mr. Segal was a partner at JLA Ventures, a large Canadian Venture Capital fund. Mr. Segal was President and Chief Executive Officer of Microforum, a leader in providing integrated e-business solutions in a wide array of industry verticals. Mr. Segal joined Microforum in July 2000 from Chapters Online Inc., a leading Canadian e-commerce company, where he held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer (1997-2000). Mr. Segal began working with Chapters Inc. in 1997 as a consultant on the technical development of the Chapters e-commerce venture. Based on this successful collaboration, he was named the President of Chapters Online in August 1998.

Prior to joining Chapters Online, Mr. Segal was a partner at the international firm of TMS Consulting from 1996 to 1998. Mr. Segal worked at Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington from 1992 until 1996 as Director of technical services for the Internet Customer Unit. Mr. Segal is also the author of four books on Network Management and Windows software development.


Bruce Gilley
President, Fixmo US

Bruce brings over 30 years of Federal, DoD and Intelligence Community engineering, acquisition and management experience to Fixmo. Prior to Fixmo, he led CloudShield Technologies Federal Sales and Operations, and helped establish CloudShield’s market leading position in Cyber. Bruce was the GM/SVP of the Intelligence Systems Business Unit for L-3 Communications – Titan Group where he drove a $200M line of business and led the capture and execution of programs focused on intelligence, information operations and C4ISR. He served 21 years with the US Navy, developing, fielding and supporting advanced cryptologic and information warfare capabilities. Bruce holds a BS in Computer Science from Old Dominion University and a MS in Information Systems from Naval Postgraduate School.


Jonas Gyllensvaan
Partner, Chief MRM Architect

Jonas maintains over twenty years of experience in information technology including a decade of mobile and wireless infrastructure management expertise. Prior to his time with Fixmo, Jonas founded and served as the CTO of StarRemote Wireless before joining ASG Software Solutions, Inc., as Senior Director of Development. Most recently, Jonas founded and sat as the CEO of Conceivium Business Solutions Inc., specializing in the development and marketing of BlackBerry mobile platform management solutions. Jonas graduated from Kattegat Skolan with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, complemented by an education at the University of Halmstad in Computer and Mechanical Engineering and International Economics.


Joyce Janczyn
Partner, Chief Operating Officer

Joyce Janczyn is a pillar of the senior management team, overseeing product delivery and day-to-day operations. She brings over twenty-five years of software industry experience to Fixmo with specializations in strategic planning, financial modeling, M&A diligence and integration, and product management. Broadly experienced in core business functions, Joyce comes from an extensive software engineering background, earning her degree in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba. Since then, Joyce has worked in software development with IBM and Alias before joining Red Hat as its Director of Business Affairs. Most recently, Joyce served as the Senior Product Manager at Autodesk, gaining a reputation of distinction through the balanced navigation of issues ranging from executive business case presentations to sensitive key client negotiations.


Anastasia Chodarcewicz, CA
Chief Financial Officer

Anastasia comes to Fixmo with an extensive background in the technology industry bringing a solid operationally oriented as well as technical focus to the Fixmo team. Prior to joining Fixmo, Anastasia held various progressively senior roles at a handful of international accounting firms, transitioning from the Auditing Practice into Due Diligence and Mergers & Acquisitions with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP through early 2003. Internationally, Anastasia has worked and lived in the UK and Germany while employed with PwC.

From 2003 – 2010, Anastasia held the position of CFO and Corporate Secretary at Sirit Inc. a TSX listed, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology company with operations in the UK, US and Canada. During her tenure, she completed three US based acquisitions, private and public fundraises, as well as handled investor relations activities, eventually selling the company to Federal Signal Corporation (NYSE: FSS). Anastasia graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Arts, Co-op Accounting.


Dan Ford
Chief Security Officer

Dan has been an information security professional for more than 15 years, and has worked for notable organizations such as XM Radio, Secure Computing, McAfee, Nominum, and Accuvant. He has extensive experience running security programs within the government segment; his most notable role was as Director of Network Security at the Transportation and Security Administration, which was the largest managed service contract within the federal government. Dan joined Fixmo in 2012 to drive security and technology innovation within Fixmo's suite of Mobile Risk Management solutions. In his role at Fixmo, he is directly responsible for global security and information assurance initiatives – researching trends, discovering security vulnerabilities and exploits, building strategic partnerships; and attaining industry certifications - as well as product innovation. Dan holds an M.S. in Information Assurance/Computer Forensics from Capitol College and a D.Sc in Information Assurance from Capitol College with a dissertation focus on enterprise smartphone security.


Tyler Lessard
Chief Marketing Officer

Tyler heads up Fixmo’s marketing and product strategy group and brings over a decade of experience in wireless technology, mobile apps, business development, alliances and solutions marketing. Prior to joining Fixmo, Tyler was Vice President of BlackBerry Global Alliances and Developer Relations at Research In Motion (RIM) where he managed a global team responsible for building and supporting an ecosystem of thousands of wireless app developers and enterprise solution providers on the BlackBerry platform. Tyler led the efforts around the global BlackBerry Alliance and Developer programs and was a key stakeholder in launching and growing the success of BlackBerry App World. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.


Benton K. Rhee
Executive Vice President of Sales

Benton brings a combined 30 years of enterprise consulting, sales and management experience to Fixmo and its Global Sales team. Prior to joining the company, Benton spent over seven years in the IBM U.S. Federal Software Group where he was responsible for customer relationship management and delivery of IBM collaboration software solutions to major U.S. Federal Government accounts. He is an accomplished and respected sales executive with a strong pedigree in enterprise software and both public and private sector sales.


John Yuen
Chief Technology Officer

John brings a decade of product development experience to Fixmo’s management team, presiding over the company’s day-to-day programming needs. Prior to joining the company, John completed his BMath in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo. As a Senior Development Manager with Redknee Inc., he spearheaded a team of system design analysts and software developers. John was responsible for developing the Next Generation Rating and Charging product line as well as the IP Data Rating and Charging Controller (IPRC).


Lee Cocking
VP of Corporate Strategy

Lee is responsible for the strategic vision and roadmap of Fixmo's product portfolio, including the flagship Sentinel product. He has over 14 years of experience in technology, and the last 10 focusing on mobile enterprise technology. Prior to joining Fixmo Lee spent nearly a decade working on BlackBerry at RIM, ranging in roles of Premier Support, Development and Product Management. While at RIM, Lee managed core components of the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution, including Messaging/Calendaring, Monitoring and supporting tools including the BlackBerry Resource Kit, Performance Engineering Resource Kit, and the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter, of which he was also a contributing developer. Lee has co-authored several patents on monitoring mobile systems. He is passionate about technology, customer service and delivering quality software, and will be focusing his creative intelligence on delivering innovative products that solve real problems.
